About the Department of Methodology and Data Analysis

Monitoring the state of the environment and evaluating environmental protection programs and improving the quality of life in the face of environmental hazards requires data collection using correct scientific methods. It is possible to describe conditions and produce valid and accurate evidence using appropriate statistical models, analysis, and interpretation of the findings, and can be helpful in responding to environmental issues of interest or concern (including air pollution, water quality, solid waste, climate change, noise, etc.), as well as environmental standards.

The Department of Methodology and Data Analysis tries to play an effective role in the quantitative and qualitative promotion of environmental productions with the scientific cooperation of different departments of the research institute and domestic and foreign educational-research centers in order to provide a valid and accurate basis for future studies and effective and fair policies in this field based on the relationship between environmental factors and health, temporal and spatial changes, etc. should be avoided. Also, by holding workshops and training courses, it can play an effective role in scientific exchange and empowerment of researchers.
